Maximize efficiency and breathe with sealed ducts

  • Improved Energy Efficiency
  • Enhanced Comfort
  • Better Indoor Air Quality
Seal Your Ducts

In homes with forced air heating and cooling systems, ducts are essential for distributing conditioned air throughout the space. Unfortunately, up to 20% of this air can escape through leaks, gaps, and poorly connected ducts. By sealing these ducts, you can significantly enhance energy efficiency, reduce utility bills, and maintain a more consistent and comfortable indoor environment. Properly sealed ducts ensure that conditioned air is effectively delivered where it's needed, leading to improved overall performance of your HVAC System.

FAQs

Your home battery or batteries will allow you to store the electricity your solar energy system produces during the day and use it when you need it most—such as when the electric grid fails due to an extreme weather event or physical damage to grid equipment, or in the evening during the time of use (TOU) peak pricing if that applies in your jurisdiction.

With a home battery system, you’ll get even greater control over your energy and significantly boost your energy independence. You can store power that you produce during the day for use during power outages or after the sun sets. How we suggest you use your battery backup system varies by home; speak with a HomePal consultant to learn more.

Availability of solar batteries will depend on where you live. HomePal installs premium battery hardware from companies like Lunar, Tesla, and SolarEdge.

Like solar power systems, the size of your battery system (how many solar batteries we recommend you get) will depend on your unique energy capacity and backup power needs. Factors such as the amount of electricity you use at home and the devices and appliances you want to back up will play a key role in designing your ideal battery storage system.

We’ll design a solution that’s right for your home based on a number of factors. Typical battery placement is on an exterior wall of your home with sufficient space or potentially inside your garage.

Depending on factors like where you live and whether you already went solar (and when), your ability to save on utility bills (or even save overall) with a home battery will vary. In many cases, the answer is yes. In other cases, customers are not financially incentivized to use power from their batteries outside of outages, and therefore will not see any energy savings. Speak with a HomePal representative to learn more about batteries and energy savings.
